Contract Provisions

Please read the following provisions regarding our installation and repair services. Please call us at 919-462-8801 with any questions.

1. Customer understands and agrees that if the Corporation work to be performed by the Corporation under this Contract is part of a larger project, it is essential to coordinate the work to be performed by the Corporation with the work to be done by others so that the Corporation's installation will not be damaged. Customer agrees that the Corporation shall not be responsible for any coordination or for any damage resulting from improper coordination notwithstanding any warranty (whether expressed or implied in law) to the contrary.

2. The Corporation shall not be liable for delays in or failure to complete, delivery or installation of all or any part of the work called for by this Contract if due to fire, strikes, war, government regulations, sickness or any cause beyond the Corporation's control.

3. The Corporation is not responsible for existing structural defects, including unlevel subfloors, dry rot or code violations. Neither is the Corporation responsible for damage to hardwood floors, caused by moisture or humidity. The Corporation will not be responsible for any damage to walls, cabinets, or any interior trim work during the removal of subflooring or installation and sanding of hardwood floors. Any painting or carpentry work from damaged areas shall be done by the customer, at the customers expense. Any breach of the preceding sentences shall entitle the Corporation to suspend its performance under this Contract or to demand payment in full with respect to all completed work and damages with respect to the balance of this Contract.

We cannot connect or disconnect any plumbing, toilets, refrigerators, or dishwashers during hardwood flooring or tile installation projects.

4. The Corporation does not connect or disconnect any plumbing, toilets, refrigerators, or dishwashers.

5. The Corporation cannot guarantee any size or grade of hardwood flooring against cupping, buckling, warping, shrinkage, or acclimation to jobsite conditions. Builder or homeowner is responsible for any damage to hardwood flooring caused by excess moisture in subfloors and jobsite conditions.

6. The Corporations is not responsible for moving any furniture or appliances, except as specified herein. Furthermore, if the Corporation should attempt to move any furniture, the Corporation shall not be responsible for any damage resulting there from.

7. The Corporation will not be responsible for cleaning houses, due to dust.

8. The Corporation cannot guarantee the life or longevity of polyurethane coatings, for any polyurethane can and will crack, dent, chip, or scratch due to normal or excessive wear and tear.

9. The Corporation cannot guarantee stain colors or matching existing floors. Customer is responsible for choosing colors.

10. By scheduling or starting this work, this Contract is considered accepted even if not signed on front side by customer.
